The location of the hostel is excellent and allows access to the central station of Munich within a 3 minute walk. From there you can easily reach all parts of the city and of course also other parts of Germany. The old town of Munich and the central Marienplatz square is a 10-minute walk from the Euro Youth Hotel Munich, as is the place where the Oktoberfest festival takes place every year. The central shopping area of the city, Karlsplatz, is less than a fifteen-minute walk from the hostel and is full of shops, chain branches and various boutiques.
The building in which the hostel is located is an ancient building from 1880 and parts of its original design have been preserved – for example the special wooden staircases and some of the floors. The hostel also has a bar designed in the spirit of the period where you can enjoy many types of beer from Bavaria, live performances, trivia nights, parties and the projection of games on a huge screen. The atmosphere in the place is young and easy and this is a great opportunity to meet people from all over the world.
The Euro Youth Hotel Munich has quite a wide variety of rooms, but they are broadly divided into two types: private rooms and shared rooms. Whatever your choice, the accommodation will be in a modern, cozy and clean room.
In the private rooms, guests can enjoy a TV with international channels, a safe with space for a laptop, a sofa and a table. You can choose between private rooms with attached shower and toilet or shared shower and toilet.
In the shared rooms category, you can choose between a bed in a spacious room with 3, 4, 5, 6, or 12 beds. Some of the rooms are intended only for women and also include attached toilets and showers or only for young people up to the age of 35. In the shared rooms, a guest receives a bed in a bunk bed, bedding and space for belongings. All guests in all room types receive free access to the hotel’s wireless internet network.
Even though it is a hostel, families are welcomed there and in the private rooms you can stay with a child. The family rooms can accommodate up to four adults and a child. Euro Youth Hotel Munich is also suitable for groups of friends who travel together and wish to rent a large room for everyone at a particularly affordable price.
A rich and varied breakfast is served to guests every morning and they can start the day with fresh pretzels, vegetables, spreads, sausages and everything needed for an energy boost.
The reception at the place works around the clock and there will be someone to give you a key no matter what time you arrive. The staff will also be happy to help you with storing your belongings and at the tourist desk they will give you the best recommendations for Munich. Guests arriving with a car will be able to leave it in the hostel’s parking lot, at a price of 12 euros per day.
